Facebook users has to be more aware since there are issues about the latest scam on Facebook. The scam contains Facebook latest feature that is the Dislike button. After this was happened, Facebook teams finally said that they have not featured this new application which is the dislike option. Indeed for the future, it is very possible that Facebook will issue the same features, but for now Facebook has not issued that feature.
So, if users see a status update that contains about “I just got the Dislike of buttons, so now I can dislike all of your dumb posts lol!!” Or “Get the official DISLIKE button now” which was followed by a link, do not click one of them, because it is one of a scam that is used to retrieve personal data from every user that is trapped by the link. If the user clicks the link, then we’ll be taken to a page that has the install button but if indeed these feature so users do not need to install it yourself. And after that the user will be asked about the app permission to run it, after which the user will be asked a few things like a survey.
As always, we recommend that any users not to click on suspicious links, especially if they promise things that look impossible. Do not also provide personal information, if the user has already entered into the scam. It could be overcome by removing the application from the Facebook profile, eliminating the message concerning the application of user status, News feeds, and features Likes and Interest on the menu “Edit My Profile”
